Cancellation Policies
Cooling off Period:
Unless you have reserved a Clearing Room (refer to special cancellation terms for Clearing Rooms below), you can cancel your booking free of charge within your cooling-off period. The cooling-off period lasts for 5 days from the booking date for reservations made until May 27, 2024, and 48 hours for bookings made on or after May 27, 2024.
Cancellation Others:
You must provide written proof within 48 hours of being informed of any changes in your circumstances. Additional information may be requested to support your cancellation request and verify its validity.
Once your booking is confirmed and the cooling-off period has passed, you are legally bound by a license agreement requiring payment for the full license period. If you have concerns regarding exam results, visa issuance, or other conditions affecting your university attendance, please reach out to us. If your cancellation request is approved for any of the mentioned reasons, any Advance License Fee Payment will be refunded in full to the original payment account.
No Visa No Pay:
If you are refused admission to a university situated in the same city as your PMG accommodation, you can cancel and receive a full refund unless:
- The refusal is due to reasons other than failing to meet academic requirements (such as misconduct, financial issues, revoked admission, or failure to complete necessary application steps on time).
- The Occupation Period specified in your License Agreement has commenced.
If you are initially declined admission or progression to the next academic year, you must promptly inform us if you plan to appeal the decision. We will confirm whether this policy applies during and after your appeal process.
Replacement Tenant Found:
Once you have checked in to your Accommodation, you cannot cancel your Agreement free of charge and must find a replacement student.
Payment Policies
Guarantor:
A guarantor is not required to book a room.
Payment Installment Plan:
When booking your room, you'll choose between paying in One (Annual) or Four Instalments. Upon booking, you'll pay for the initial 2 weeks of your contract as the Advance Licence Fee. Throughout the booking process, you'll see payment due dates and amounts based on your chosen building and instalment option.
Mode of Payment:
You can conveniently make payments via card or bank transfer. The payment methods vary based on your bank's country, covering all major credit and debit cards. For international students, they facilitate bank transfers to a local bank in your home currency for added convenience.
